SEO and SERP Practices to Avoid !

 I have many pages and and examples of the service that Freelance IT provides for our clients. Some of our pages use services like Blogger as and added example of building website and internet presence. It is interesting how far even free sites and services can boost and increase your potential for earning on the internet, for about any type of business. There is only one major mistake that the majority of companies make when using these, and almost everyone makes the same exact mistake. It is a common error to do with internet based company brand exposure, as well website search engine marketing. So have you guessed what it is yet ?  I will give you one hint at this computer error of ways that can actually hurt your websites and businesses when it comes to getting listed in relevant search engine result pages .

The answer to this is riddle, and the one thing that most people do, is forget to create good original content that reaches out to others and helps others find your websites. Often I have seen customers basically copy there website content from multiple descent serp listing pages and resubmit it via a blog site like Blogger, Wordpress, Reddit or one of the other many free article and posting sites. If you have a listing for "free red widgets" services there is not a reason to make another page exactly like the prior page. Pointing pages at it with links to it and other website services or products is fine as long as you divide up and have other search terms that may mean the exact same thing. Having others that point to other similar parts of your content and with all these terms in the content may be more helpful but not 3 or four posts of relatively the same exact product or service. As well the lesser relevant pages can act as a distraction, be confusing and get a higher placement then the most relevant page.





  

1. Really you do not need or want to appear to have many doorway pages.
2. You do not want to copy and paste articles into other pages, instead use RSS or Atom Feeds.
3. Besides Unique Content also make sure pages include unique Titles, Meta Tags, Information.
4. Link to relevant pages with unique Links and Anchor Text.
5. Make your page and websites navigation easy to understand and follow. 
6. Follow the Rules ! The terms and conditions of assorted search engines can be different.
7. Be creative with your SEO and SERP marketing. The same old and copies make people leave due to it all looks the same.

 

  I have seen others copy sites and rip others off thinking that will help there positions. This normally will never work these days, also if the person you copy is a crook also then the people in the know will assume you are one in the same. If someone says they will do the work for next to nothing also are more then likely to good to be true. Seeing that on a large site, a top ranking SEO professional job can be a full time job and a expensive position to fill and often the experience these people have, can very greatly. I have been a SEO for 20 years now and have a lifetime of experience with this, yet that comes at a price and this is not taught in college or schools. Most cases the work needed for some sites is going to exceed the returns that the site owners can afford the first year or two of business. It also depends on the popularity of the terms, the competition in your field and as well the content you have on your domains and websites. Often some of the unsavory people in SEO use what are called black hat SEO to get faster results, which result latter in banned and suspended search engine listings for your domains unless many precautions are put in to effect. You as a consumer will never know when black hat seo practices are being used until you start losing good search engine result page listings. White Hat SEO Practices are more often common sense though black hat methods are very common today.
